Item #:21 Bar Mill GrateMake your tub grinder even more productive; add the Bakko 21 bar mill grate.The Bakko 21 bar mill grate is designed to hold tough, heavy and wet bales off the rotor to prevent “slugging”. By keeping the bale off the rotor, the engine is allowed to maintain optimum operating rpm’s, using less HP and fuel therefore increasing production. Each mill bar is made from hardened AR steel, which pre-cut’s the bale at the tub base allowing the hammers to process the hay into the rotor and then sized through the lower screens. Bakko’s 21 bar mill grate is designed so that each bar can quickly and easily be removed to allow the operator to grind lighter, drier bales when less mill bars are required. |

Plate style hammers have a tendency to tip side to side using more horse power, fuel and creating uneven cuts. A wide variety of rectangle, spiral and rotated hole screens are available. All Bakko screens are made of heavy 5/16” material and reinforced to help extend the life of the screen. Bakko Bros. also stock Haybuster round hole screens from 1/8” to 8” holes. |
